Lord Gardiner, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Rural Affairs and Biosecurity, visited Harper Adams on November 9th to meet with senior staff and researchers.
Vice-Chancellor David Llewellyn said: "We were delighted to host a second visit by a Government Minister so soon after the Secretary of State’s visit the previous week. It provided an opportunity to discuss key issues facing the industry and the university sector relating to the future environment for the farming and food sectors.
"Lord Gardiner was shown work on animal behaviour, entomology and automation and robotics. There was also an opportunity to visit the new Agri EPI building funded through the Government’s Agri-Tech Strategy."
